A SturNet training session in Tsarevo brought together members of the fishing community to exchange practical experience, discuss sturgeon conservation and learn about the project’s digital tools.
On 20 October 2026, members of the fishing community took part in a SturNet training session in Tsarevo, Bulgaria. The event formed part of the training series organised by the Protection of Biodiversity in Bulgaria Foundation with the assistance of OPIMOS Association.
The session attracted strong interest and active participation from local fishers. Participants shared their practical experience and discussed the challenges facing sturgeon conservation in the Black Sea.
The training introduced SturNet’s digital tools and the opportunities they offer for submitting reports, exchanging information and working together to protect these endangered species. We thank everyone who took part for their interest, active participation and shared experience.
